Why is my doorbell not ringing on my other google devices including my phone.
The doorbell is working and I can see the video through the app but it does not ring on my display or other google products.

To get doorbell notifications on your phone, you want to make sure "Push notifications" is turned on for your doorbell in the Google Home app.  To get doorbell notifications on your Nest Hubs or Nest Minis, turn on "Visitor announcements" on your doorbell (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451?hl=en&sjid=898130314515265403-NA).

Thanks I have enabled both of these and still no luck.

@Annoyed25

Are your Nest Hubs and Nest Minis in the same Google Nest "home/structure" on the same Wi-Fi network as your doorbell?  Are you able to view your camera's livestream on your Nest Hubs?

Is "Do Not Disturb" turned off on your Nest Hubs and Nest Mini?

On your phone, do you have notifications turned on for the Google Home app?

Yes. My doorbell will even display on my nest hub but the bell won’t ring. I just upgraded to the 2nd gen. My old one worked.

Unfortunately yes to all of these.

@Annoyed25

It's puzzling that you are not getting a notification for a doorbell press on either your phone or your Nest Hub, when it's two different options that control that.

We still have Google Nest Hello Doorbells. Over the years we've had them, we have on a couple of occasions had to restart one of them to correct an anomaly by briefly turning off the circuit for the doorbell. Lacking any other options, I wonder if that's worth trying with your 2nd gen doorbell.

Ugh. Nope. The only thing I can think is that I don’t have a hard wired doorbell chime. I didn’t need one with my older generation. Thoughts!

@Annoyed25

I don't think that should make a difference. We have the "Indoor chime" option turned off on all three of our Nest Hellos because the internal battery has failed on each, causing the doorbell to go offline when the doorbell is pressed unless the internal chime is turned off.

Do you have the chime puck wired in? I don't know if that makes a difference with the 2nd gen doorbell if you don't have an indoor chime.

Finally got it. I had activated the indoor chime. After resetting and turning off it finally work. Thanks for the help.
