After receiving an invite to join a home, I cannot access the Nest cameras

How does it work? I have the Google home app, but the next app doesn't seem to recognize it and it won't let me sign in with Google account credentials.

Does the person from whom you received the invitation have devices set up in the Google Nest app in the same Google Nest "home/structure"?

I accessed my nest account and a notice popped up to migrate to a Google account so I clicked to agree, signed into my Google account and now can’t access the Nest cams as it says another account owns those cameras. It’s my old Nest account that owns them!! I have tried to log in using the old Nest account and it won’t let me, saying that account has migrated to Google. This should have been a simple crossover from Neat to Google. Now locked out of our cameras!

It's probably just me, but I'm not clear on exactly what's happened in your situation.
