Attaining past video footage over 3 weeks ago

Good afternoon, 

there was a family situation that recently happened at my house that I needed to see video footage for. This would have been a huge help only I can’t go back past a week.  This event happened 3-4 weeks ago.  Is there a way that I can retrieve it?
