I'm sorry for the late response, but I wanted to hop in here to make sure you got help. Sorry to hear about the issues with your camera audio, I know it can be confusing, but I'm happy to help. 

If you don't mind, would you be able to tell me what troubleshooting steps you've taken?

Since the audio works on your iphone but not your Macbook, it seems like it is an issue with the MacBook settings that is making it not work. I would suggest double checking that as well.
