Bad product and app is bad

2 things, 1 when trying to add my camera to the Nest App, it'll scan the QR code and then it just drops and restarts the app. App is updated so I don't what is going on with that. 

2. I bought a 3rd generation thermostat in April on Amazon, it worked fine until now. It doesn't hold a charge when docked and keeps restarting or shutting off completely.  When it's on it won't find the network, even when I have the router right next to it. I have charged it off the dock for 24hrs once and it still did the same thing. So therefore I have 2  defective devices that cost a lot of money and serve no purpose.

Is your indoor camera a 1st gen or 2nd gen Google Nest camera? The 2nd gen indoor cameras (sold starting in April 2022) can only be installed in the Google Home app.

We don't have a Nest thermostat, so I can't speak to why it doesn't hold a charge.
