Bait and switch- AGAIN

dantetron

Google, once again, has promised me services that got me to buy their product only to switch those services on me and DRAMATICALLY drive up the price.

I chose the Googe Nest Doorbell cam over Ring for one reason- the subscription service offered continuous video recording for $5/month.    Correct me if I'm wrong, but to get continuous video recording I have to pay over 2x the price?  A 200% price increase?

Google- don't insult my intelligence and respond with "oh but you get all these other wonderful things with that".

Explain to me how it's not price gouging by making me go from $5 to $12 to keep the service I bought the product for.

Thanks.

Hi, Brad.

I do appreciate the response though it obviously lacks a solution.

Does Nest have any solution that will retain customers who don't appreciate 200% price hikes?

Thanks.
