I think I chose the wrong product. None of the nest cams last a week on a charge. They take forever to charge. I have six and have only Imounted 4. I have them mounted in the shade. I let them fully charge. They last on average 3-4 days. None of them lasts a full week so it isn’t a location or situation error. Seems to be just a defective product all together. Have tried for almost two months but the system is crap if I have to take all the cameras down to charge all day every few days!

That's my experience too. We ended up keeping one plugged in all the time and running the wire through the wall into a crawl space that had an outlet to hide the wire. I have been getting the wired ones since.

Hi @Doe,
Thank you for posting in the community. I'm sorry to hear that the battery of your Nest Cams dies every 3-4 days, and this one's taking a lot of time to charge. Don't worry; let's work together to solve it.
I would like to ask you some questions to gather a little bit more information:
We are going to try a factory reset. Before the process, please make sure that the device is properly connected to its cable and adapter, and let the camera charge until its battery is full.
Note: This process erases all your personalized settings, deletes the entire video history, and restores the factory default settings. It won't automatically reconnect to Wi-Fi, and you'll need to set it up again. Here are the steps to perform a factory reset.
Let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
Lusvin.
