Hi @Tyson990,
Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest Cam says empty battery. I'm happy to help!
To better understand the situation, I'd like to ask a few questions:
- What kind of Nest camera do you have?
- When did the inconvenience start?
- Are you able to check the camera feed?
- When was the last time you charged your Nest cam?
In the meantime, let's check a few things:
- Please keep the camera connected to the charger until its battery is full. The battery takes approximately 5 hours to fully charge. Refer to this article: Battery charge time.
- Inspect the charging port and make sure there are no obstructions or damage to the charging port.
- Ensure you are using the provided cable and adapter that came with the device.
- Ensure the camera is securely connected to its power source.
- Temperature: Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance. If it's very cold or hot, try relocating the camera to a more temperature-controlled area.
Keep me posted.
Best regards,
Melany
