Battery doorbell camera falls off mount

Rachel3

This device keeps falling off off the mount. It works and stays on for a few days and then falls off of its own accord!

This is not the usual standard that I would expect from Google and all my other devices are fine. It's been like this since I bought it, I wish I'd returned it but each time it seems to lock on I think it's sorted. Really frustrating!

@Rachel3

I've seen numerous other reports like yours in this forum.

You could try contacting Support about a replacement, but it might be an inherent design flaw.  At least one other customer had success lubricating the latching mechanism to get it to work better.

I am having the exact same issue with mine! I even unscrewed the mount from the wall to test and the latch that you push in at the top to release the doorbell will not grab on/ click when I am trying to put it back on the mount.

I have barely had this for over a year and would love some info on if this would qualify under a warranty or something

Well, my warranty expired in December so… off to Ring I go 👋
