Can I have a household chime for My Nest battery operated doorbell?

If you have an indoor doorbell chime and a doorbell transformer from a previous conventional doorbell, you can wire your battery doorbell to that indoor doorbell chime and turn on the "Indoor chime" option.

If you do NOT have an existing indoor doorbell chime, you could purchase a Nest Mini for about $35 and turn on the "Visitor announcements" option (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/7672451) on your battery doorbell.

Hello everyone,
@Donnaf, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. Were you able to read the information that MplsCustomer has shared? You may connect your Nest Doorbell to a Nest Mini speaker and enable the Visitors Announcements to have an indoor chime. Looking forward to your response.
I appreciate your help, MplsCustomer and davidking.
Regards,
Emerson

You absolutely can have a chime with Nest Doorbell (battery). What kind of chime do you have?
Here's how to check compatibility:

Hi David thanks so much. When they took out my intercom doorbell they took the chime so I’ve been relying on my phone only. Since there is a delay to my phone notification they end up knocking.
