Hey, just wanted to warn folks away from Nest customer care. I don’t think I’ve ever encountered a group that was single-handedly this bad at supporting their products.
(I’ve been stuck with a broken Nest doorbell for nearly a month, they sent the RMA to the wrong address, have charged me for it, and appear to just be ignoring me.)
The hardware is good, but I’ve used a lot of the wireless doorbells on the market, and I would strongly encourage you to look at one of those based on this experience. Real shame, wanted to like this product a lot but you can’t recommend something on hardware alone. Needs to be supported. And Nest’s support is truly abysmal.
