Interesting that the conversation was disabled after 576 comments. This issue has still not been resolved, at least for me it hasn’t been. If my camera is near a light source (I have 8 cameras, battery, doorbell, floodlight) I had to turn off Night vision so it would capture movement. My backyard camera isn’t near a light source so I am attaching what it looks like at night. When I first installed our cameras they were so clear at all times of day. This is beyond ridiculous this has not been resolved after Google has been made aware of it and said it was being addressed. I have included pics of some of my other cameras that are near a light source. Three software updates later…….

Hey @Adj,
Thank you for creating a new thread about this topic, older threads are automatically locked after 30 days of inactivity.
If your low light or Night Vision video quality with Nest Cam is poor, take a look at some of the troubleshooting steps outlined in this article: Night Vision video quality is poor.
If you're still experiencing problems with the video quality after trying the steps from the Help Center, I recommend getting in contact with our Google Nest support team who can take a deeper look.
Please let me know if you have any questions from here, as I would be happy to take a closer look and assist you further.
Regards,
Jonathan

Jonathan,
It is not my cameras or internet speed. This problem began, as Google is aware, when the software was updated over a year ago. It was then updated two more times with MANY people experiencing the poor video and live feed quality when it used to be perfect before the update in May 2023. I have chatted and spoken on the phone with support for over a year and this issue is still not resolved. If you go back to the threads that have now been closed you will see all the examples people are posting which is why I posted photos in the new thread. This is a Google problem to resolve for its customers who have invested hundreds and thousands of dollars in your product and Nest Aware/Nest Aware Plus subscriptions. Google is causing a safety issue for people who bought cameras with the expectation from your marketing material that motion and sound can alert them when something is wrong. This is beyond frustrating to continuously be asked to troubleshoot cameras for dirty lenses or internet speed.
