CANT RESET MY WIRED NEST CAM 1ST GEN

steven5
Community Member

My camera is bound to someone else's account. I looked through the camera and couldn't find the reset button. When I used my account to link the camera, it prompted that the camera was bound to another account. Please remove it first. I The problem is here. I can't find the person who bound the camera and his account before, so I can't delete the device in the nest software. So, what should I do now to bind the camera on my mobile phone?

The Reset Button on the floodlight camera and the battery camera is located on the back of the camera head:

Performing a factory reset on your floodlight camera may or may not work if the previous owner failed to first remove the camera from their account in the Google Home app.
