I have a nest cam IQ outdoor. It stopped working over a week ago. I reset the camera by depressing the pin hole as suggested, have run through the installation 6x now and the camera is not responding. I’ve been through all the help pages as well as a lot of forum posts and spent 6-7hrs trying to resolve it. We spent a lot of money on this camera and only had it about 2yrs. I’ve tried calling the help number / had an automated callback which hangs up on me and is extremely frustrating…
What can we do please? Ben
Hello, I hate to say it but it sounds like either the camera has malfunctioned or the little power adapter has failed.
I think your next step is to open a support ticket with Nest and speak with a nest tech person. Here is the link to get you started so you can speak with someone. It is a good idea to anticipate about an hour with the tech has they will have you try a number things to correct the problem.
