Camera added but does show on my next app

added my camera but it does not show on my nest how page?

how do I fix this ?

Having the same issue. It adds to the Google Home app but not the Nest App.

If the camera you added is the new Nest Cam Indoor (https://store.google.com/product/nest_cam_indoor?hl=en-US), you have discovered what we discovered to our surprise when we bought a Google Nest Camera (Battery) 14 months ago: the newer Google Nest cameras and doorbells work ONLY in the Google Home app and NOT in the Google Nest app or on the home.nest.com website.

We've been using 2 apps ever since.

Google Nest just recently made this new website available in "Preview" mode for ALL of our cameras: https://home.google.com, but for now it's livestream only with no history.

Google Nest has announced an upcoming upgrade to the Google Home app, but we don't yet know what it does for bringing all of our cameras together:

The Google Home app user interface is TERRIBLE compared to the Nest App.

Nest App > Google Home App.

Thank you for your feedback on this, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest cams in the Nest app like you may be used too. However, you can now use the Google Home web app to view your cameras and doorbells.

The new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support.
