Camera associated with another account

My deceased brother owned some nest products. I have reused some in my own nest account. When I try to add some cameras, I get a message that says “camera associated with another account” and can’t add. He passed away 8 months ago and I don’t have access to his account. I don’t know when his account will end for nonpayment. Any way to use these cameras?

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry for your loss. I understand you're having trouble reusing some of your brother’s Nest devices because they're linked to his account. Let me share some information that can help you with this.

We have a helpful Help Center article called "Submit a request regarding a deceased user's account." You'll need to submit a form there and select the appropriate options. This will allow the account to be fully deactivated, which will then let you use the devices.

Please try using this Help Center and filling out the form. Let me know how it goes, and keep me posted. I'll be happy to help you.
