Camera is always mine but claiming it belongs to another account

I had a power outage and my two outside cameras went off line. When power restored both cameras dropped off the nest app. During my setup process both cameras claimed they belonged to another account, but I have owned them for years. Brought from dish network. Help!

I don't know why your cameras "dropped off the Nest app", or exactly what that means. When we've had power outages, we sometimes have to unplug one or more of our cameras for a minute and then plug them back in before they'll come back on.  But they've never disappeared from the Google Nest app.

If you haven't done a factory reset on your camera and removed it from the Google Nest app, you can't reinstall it. The install process only checks whether the camera is already installed, but is not smart enough to recognize that the camera on which it is installed is YOUR camera.
