Camera says its being used by another account

My app no longer sees my cameras. When I attempt to connect it again, it says it’s being used by another accoutn. My wired camera doorbell is new only to me and I can't even remove it from my nest app because it’s not there. Can a factory reset fix this?

What you are describing could happen if you are inadvertently logging into the Google Nest app with a different username and password.

If you have a 1st gen Google Nest indoor camera, you can only perform a factory reset by removing it from the Google Nest app (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9252162?hl=en-CA&sjid=14814743707421172424-NC#zippy=%2C...).

If you have a 1st gen Google Nest Hello Doorbell, these are the factory reset instructions:
