I am having the same issue, received a notification this morning while set to Away but there is no recording. I only just got my nest camera and it was working up until the past couple of days.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries, we'll check this out. Were there any changes to the Wi-Fi network? Do you use email or push notifications? Are there other family members who can access the camera? Do they receive any notifications? Has the camera been moved recently? Also, are there any Activity Zones set up for the camera? Keep us posted.
