Is it really correct that I can't set up a basic schedule for camera notifications? I live in a high-crime area and want to be alerted at night if there is any movement in my back garden. But at the moment I am spammed every single time my wife or kids go into the garden during the day but have no alerts at night (when my phone switches to Sleep/Do Not Disturb). So I'm getting the exact opposite of what I need. This is basic functionality - cannot believe that Google don't offer it. I'm intending to switch system but please do let me know if I've misunderstood/missed something...

The newer cameras and doorbells released starting in Sept. 2021 that work only in the Google Home app do NOT have the scheduling capability of the older cameras and doorbells that work in the Google Nest app.
I have seen some posts from customers using a script or automation to schedule when their cameras are on and reporting notifications, but I don't know if that works or not. My impression is that it does not.
But even if it works, it wouldn't help you if your iPhone is set to "Do Not Disturb" at night because you wouldn't receive those notifications.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes - looking at it now, it seems I can set an exception in iOS so that I continue to get notifications during my Sleep Focus. So the issue is that I can't mute them during the day. I unfortunately have a Google Nest Doorbell so I regrettably can't mute all notifications from Google Home (as I wouldn't know when people were at my door).
I suppose I'm just a bit staggered that Google (one of the world's largest tech companies) hasn't delivered what must be an absolutely standard technical feature that many/most buyers of their security products need.
