Just installed the Nest Cam with floodlight. See both the light and the camera as separate items in Google Home. I have set the flood light timer to 1 minute and high motion sensitivity. My question is can I set the light to 30% brightness (when it turns dark) and then 100% when it senses motion? I would like the always on at night feature but don’t want it 100% bright unless needed.

Would love to know if this is possible? Our light is set to 100% now (via Google routine) from Dusk till Dawn as I want a light on during the night. BUT - would love for that light to be at 20%(ish) and then turn to 100% for motion events and then back to 20% based on the timer settings. Seems reasonable- but don’t see a way to do this yet

I was just coming on to find this out as well seeing how this is very commonplace on floodlights and the one I'm replacing would do that.
Dusk would put the light on at 50% and motion would be full brightness for a time of 30 seconds to 5 mins.

Hey folks,
So sorry for the delay! The answer would be that no, you cannot turn on and off your floodlight as it is motion based, and/or based on the sensor. I invite y'all to check out this article on how to change the settings and which ones can be changed for the floodlight. Please let me know if you need further assistance.
Best regards,
Brad.
