Hello,
I have been trying for several hours to connect a nest camera (battery) to my google home. Every attempt I have tried I run into the same problem. What appears to be the final step “finishing up” I keep getting an error “something went wrong, taking longer than expected.” When I leave the setup, I see the camera in my home app but no video will play. If someone walks by the camera, I’ll get a notification but when I enter the app, once again there is no video playing. Anyone else having this issue?
Here is what I’ve attempted but keep getting the error:
-rest camera (hold button on back~30 seconds)
-rest camera and attempt to connect with Mobil hotspot
- rest camera, creat new home and try adding
Every attempt I’ve done I get the same error.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Could you tell us the light status of your Google Nest Camera battery? Has the device been paired before? How far is the device from the router? Also, are there devices or appliances (such as baby monitors, microwaves, cordless phones, etc.) near the device you want to pair? Those devices could interfere with the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth signal.
