Setup new device->New Devices->Choose a Home->Looking for devices->What are you setting up?->Doorbell->Nest Doorbell (Battery)->Scan QR code from back of device->New Nest Doorbell (battery)->Accept Usage Guidelines->Accept privacy guidelines->Join "Help improve Google Nest Doorbell"->Do you have any other Nest device already set up in this home?->No->Create a new network?->Create network->Problem Connecting to cloud[Please try again later] ...

I am stuck in this loop. Exact same thing in my Android device, except that in android the error that appears is "Something went wrong, please try again later"

I managed to follow the steps provided by @asafm and it finally resolved and able to use my Google nest doorbell.  Thank you so much.

The steps were:

@asafm @spent 1 hour in support chat, and the issue was resolved

1. Downloaded Nest app

2. In the Nest app, create a new home (don't select the home you created in Google Home).

3. Go to Google Home app

4. Delete previous home created during initial setup.

5. Use the new home in Google Home app and add Doorbell to it.

Hello,  I'm an end user like  you and I troll this forum fairly often.  The only thing I can think of is this:

#1  Make sure you are using a simple GMAIL account and not one of the email account that is part of a corporate owned group.  I think they called them G-Suite accounts.

#2  If you are using the Google Nest (Mesh) router for this location then check these settings:

Go to Google home app,
Wifi
Settings
Preferred activities
Uncheck both activities.

Otherwise I would suggest speaking with a google nest tech on the phone.  With link you can open an official support ticket and once you have answer the questions there is an option to escalate to a phone call and speak with someone.  I believe they are there 24/7 so you can try it anytime.

If any of this gets you up and running please return here and let us know how it got solved.  I'm sure other people are running into this as well.

Hello everyone,

@USEREXP_UAE_AUH, we appreciate you sharing the steps you've taken for this issue. Aside from the steps suggested above, I would suggest you try resetting your Nest Doorbell to the factory default and try adding it back to your app.

I appreciate the help, EmptyNester.

Best,
Emerson

Hi @EmersonB

I tried resetting the device but yet it still have similar outcome and did not resolved.

I want to verify if what @MpsCustomer statement was true that it doesn't support countries not stated by Google because I am operating the device in the country, United Arab Emirates (UAE) resulting the device unable to create the network cluster.

Can Google support verify this issue was due to their support statement?

Thank you for recommending this reference but this is not the dependency for Google Doorbell not operating in my region, Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.

Please refer to my recommended solution to my question.
