Can’t reinstall a camera

I had to remove one of my cameras (1st generation) from the APP. First it took over 24 hours for it to disappear from my APP. Then when I try to reinstall it I get an error code C101 - which means that it is in the system as already installed. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions?

If you're getting a C101 error, that would seem to mean that your factory reset was not successful. For 1st gen cameras, that is supposed to happen when you remove the camera from the Google Nest app.

Why did you have to remove your camera from the Google Nest app? Maybe there was smoothing else going on as well.

You could try contacting Support:

1. Go to https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp.
2. Select a category/product family, and type in a brief description of the issue, then click "Next".
3. Select your device from the dropdown, click "Other", then click "Next step".
4. Under "Resources", just click "Next step". (Clicking one of the listed links will bring up a Help page.)
5. Under "Contact options", choose to get a phone call or chat with the team, depending on availability in your country.
