Can the Doorbell be used as a spy cam?

Hello, can I take the (portable) Doorbell on vacation and use it as a spy cam inside my hotel room?  Thanks

Hi CurryPork,

It would need to be connected with an WiFi network that has internet connection. While it's possible I would definitely recommend asking the hotel for permission.

Hi CurryPork,   I would not recommend it.  But not for the reason you might think.  When you get to the hotel you would have to reconfigure the camera to use the Hotel's wifi network.  Google makes it almost impossible to change the WIFI network that their cameras (and doorbells) use to connect.  The headaches would not make it worth it.
