Trying to reinstall a camera, updated the app, tried to re-add the camera, gets to a point where it says "Choose the last 4 digits of your cameras serial number" "it may take a moment for your device to appear in the list".
No list appearsand I've be waiting ages. I've cancelled it and tried again, same result..there are other posts by other customers who didn't get answers. No option for live chat help or phone support. Ive reset the factory settings on the camera. Can someone advise?

That can happen if you are trying to use the wrong app to install a Google Nest camera or battery. Your post mentions a battery camera and you also selected the Nest app, but the 2nd gen Google Nest Battery Cameras (we have one) ONLY get installed in the Google Home app.
Also did you do a "factory reset" of your camera (not a "restart")?

Yes I had done the factory reset before I started. You are correct, I was using the Nest App to install which was the wrong app. I tried the Google Home app and that worked perfectly, back up and running again. Thanks
