My Nest Doorbells I can only see live video from the doorbell if I am off my wifi. If I am on my wifi, I just get a spinning blue circle where it should be showing me my live feed. But, if I am on wifi, I can view historical videos. If someone rings my doorbell, I can see the short video that it recorded. I just can't view live video.
I do have a more than average complicated firewall setup at my house that I wonder if has something to do with it. But, since it does show historical video using the app, it's not making sense to me
I don't have a home "router." My internet works by connecting a 4G modem (which it does present itself a public IP address) to my firewall. I use my firewall as my "router." It performs the NATs. From there, it goes out to a switch then to Cisco CBW150 Access points and then I also have the matching Cisco range extenders all over the house.
I just logged into the access point's config and I don't see anything that looks like it would be blocking client to client communication over the 2.4 GHz network (like some kind of isolation.)

Hey there,
Thank you for bringing up the concern you're experiencing, I would love to look into this further for you. The first troubleshooting step that I'd recommend would be to restart your device. This process should keep all your settings, and reconnect it to the same Wi-Fi network. This is helpful if it ever freezes, has connection problems, or isn't working normally.
Best regards,
Brad
