Where do you delete a single video in the timeline? I only see it giving me the option of deleting all history which can't be the only option on an expensive camera with a paid subscription, can it?

Google Nest does not provide us with a way to delete individual events in our camera's timeline. We can only delete all history. I suspect there are probably technical challenges in providing such a capability. For example, if you have a Nest Aware Plus subscription, and you delete an event in your timeline, what do you do with the gap that is then introduced, and how do you show it? And how do you provide the ability to delete a non-event portion of the timeline when the Google Home app doesn't even give us the ability to select a non-event clip for download?

All of my older cameras from different companies seemed to figure it out, so I thought it was pretty basic. I think I've made a terrible mistake "upgrading" everything to Google products. Not only did my old ring doorbell do this basic task with ease, my $30 lorex cameras that didn't charge me subscription fees did it as well. I'm so embarrassed for trusting reputation over functionality. 😳

We've never had a need to delete history. But then, we haven't used other brands of cameras either. We just allow 24/7 video history to roll off and get deleted automatically at 10 days and event video history at 60 days.

Hi there,
I can imagine it has been an inconvenience, so thank you for your patience. I would have to agree with user MplsCustomer, as there definitely isn't a way to delete individual events in your camera history. But please share your feedback and experience with us in the app.
Best regards,
Brad
