Charging Next Cam battery

How do I know when the battery is charged?

Supposedly, when the battery camera is fully charged, "When your camera is connected to the USB charging cable, the status light will appear solid white when your camera is completely charged"  and pulses white when it is being charged.  (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9268073?hl=en#zippy=%2Cgoogle-nest-cam-battery)

Our battery camera is plugged in all the time with the optional 10-meter power cable, so it's "Live" all the time and the LED status light is always green.

I don't know how  or if the camera knows when it's connected to the USB charging cable versus the optional power cable. I've asked several times in this forum about the difference, and whether the 3-meter charging cord that comes with the camera can be used to power the camera on an ongoing basis (as some customers have done), and have gotten vague answers implying that the 3-meter USB charging cord that comes with the camera works the same as the optional 5-meter and 10-meter power cables, but then how does the camera know when it's being charged versus being powered on an ongoing basis?

Thanks. I didn't see the light until I took the QR code tag off.

Save the QR code sticker.  And write down the 6-character Setup Code in case you need either in the future.
