I recently bought a nest doorbell from someone who moved into a new house. They removed the nest doorbell from the house they sold in order to install at the new home, however, they advised me that the new home came with a state-of-the-art security system, and no longer needed it. I visited the house to pick up the nest doorbell - it was a multi-million dollar home that did have a high-tech security system in it. I inquired numerous times to determine if anything was missing, and they advised me that nothing was - until I went to hook it up, and found out online that I would need a "chime connector" to make it work.
I cannot find a suitable replacement online, and I'd like to make sure that this will work once I get it hooked up - otherwise I've wasted quite a bit of money, and will have to buy another one to add to that.
Can you please help? If you require additional details about the unit, or anything, please let me know.
Thanks,
Peter
