Chime options for Nest Doorbell battery

Hello,

I am considering the Nest doorbell (battery).  What options are there for it to have an external chime for the house?  I have a Nest Mesh router system with 2 points.  Is there a way to get the points to chime when someone presses the button?  If not, what will make a sound when someone presses the doorbell?

Thanks,

I am not sure what is meant by "external chime", but I am assuming it is an indoor physical doorbell chime.  If not clarify.

If the Nest Doorbell (battery) is wired to a chime it can ring the chime and or ring and announce on any Google Assistant Speakers in the house. If it is not wired, running on battery alone, it will ring and announce on Google Assistant Speakers.

The access points for Nest Wi-Fi Mesh Router are Google Assistant Speakers.  As long as they are configured and operational as smart speakers they should ring.

Thank you for the reply.  Yes i mean some sort of chime sounding in the house, not on my phone.  I have small children in the house and want them to be able to hear the door ring (they do not have phones).

To clarify - I do not have any wired doorbells, so this would be totally wireless.  Just looking to pop the nest on the exterior of house and have it ring the mesh routers.  You are saying they should be able to do that?

Thanks again for any help! (I am not very tech savvy)

Yes.  Attach the Doorbell (Battery) near the door. When the button is pushed it will be announced on the Google Assistant Speakers you have in the home.

Full Disclosure I don't have any of the mesh Points on my own wi-fi system to 100% verify. They are Google Assistant Speakers and presumably you can "Hey Google" and ask them to do things or provide information.  If so, yes, they will announce the doorbell push.
