What is the level of security for the Nest videos stored on the cloud? Is it stored on a private or public cloud? Are videos on the cloud encrypted? If so, what level of encryption is used? Does Google or any of its employees have access to the videos on the cloud?

Hi CanMan45,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. All Google Nest cameras and doorbells can upload and securely save video in the cloud, where it's protected from theft and damage. To offer backup video storage when they go offline, the Nest Cam (battery) and Nest Doorbell (battery) can continue to record and save events to their internal memory, and then upload the video to the cloud when they reconnect to the Nest service. Employees does not have any access to the videos on the cloud. Hit this link for more information.

Emerson
