Connect Nest outdoor cameras to my iMac

I no longer can see all my cameras on my Nest app. I just purchased the new battery cameras and they require the google home app but won't show up on the original Nest app, why?

The new Google Nest cameras released in Fall 2021 only work with the (very bad) Google Home app. Due to this Google Home app requirement, you also cannot access the camera video from a computer web browser at home.nest.com.

Thank you for your feedback on this issue, I fully understand the frustrations of not having your new Nest Cams in the Nest App. I can imagine having to use two different apps at the moment is quite daunting, and could lead to frustration. 

However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure. Thank you for your continued patience, and support. You will need to download the Google Home App, log in with the same user info as your Nest account, and then add in your Nest Cam Outdoor (battery) into Google Home App. Unfortunately there is no way around this if you want your new Camera(s) to work.
