Took over Nest products from previous owners. Managed to reprogram and connect to the thermostats and now tackling the doorbells. Maybe this is simpler than I think, but how do I connect to the existing doorbells. Nest app tells me to scan the back but they are already installed and I can’t easily access the back. Is there a different way? Is it easy enough to lift the device off brackets? I have not tried this yet for fear of breaking something by accident.
