I never seen anything like this. I had a nest installed by a professional yesterday. Set the temp for nighttime and in the morning it was 7 degrees off. I cannot reach anyone for help on my new nest thermostats!

In my experience, setting the Nest thermostat up and updating the settings and Schedule On The Computer is highly recommended. I'm sure this will move you in the correct direction. If not>>>
We need some more information. Have you begun the programming at all? Do you have power saving mode on? Does your city participate in raising the thermostat during high use times (Summertime temps in Texas)? Here is a great place to start. Let us know a bit more after you get some reading in.

since I had my nest installed, I have to reset it at least every 4 hours! The temp does not stay. Example: I went to bed last night. I had to set it in 72 because it went up to 74. When I woke in the morning it was reading 77. All I want is it to remain on where I set it!!!!!

I don’t know if I have power saving on. All I know how to do is turn the dial. I have to reset it over and over and over and over. I set it on 72 and it will not hold! It gos up and up and up. I set it on 72 last night when I went to bed. This morning it was reading 77.

Hey folks,
Thanks for your suggestion, tripleshot.
Docpetro, sorry to hear about your experience and for the delayed response. You may reach out to our support team via phone, chat or social media through this link: https://bit.ly/3adTfGB
Also, since you're already here, could you tell me what type of Nest thermostat you have? If you have either the Nest Learning Thermostat or the Nest Thermostat E, have you checked on the Auto-Schedule setting of it? Take a look at this link for more information: https://bit.ly/3qY2NLX
