My Gmail account was hacked, and I had to delete it quickly. Now I have a new Gmail account. Problem is, without my old gmail account in use, I can't migrate my Nest cameras to my new gmail account. I'm also having some difficulty starting over as if they're new cameras, because plugging them in via USB, doesn't initiate their addition to my new Gmail account as the interface suggests. I see a setup code on the back of the cameras but I don't know where to type it into Nest. Any workarounds here? Thanks!

Unfortunately, the only way to change the account for most Google Nest devices is to perform a factory reset and then reinstall them in the Google Nest app or Google Home app, as appropriate.
And unfortunately, for some 1st gen Google Nest cameras (those with no reset button), the only way to perform a factory reset is to remove them from the Google Nest app while still on your old account.
The Factory Reset instructions for each camera and doorbell are below; they are AFTER the Restart instructions in the Help topic:

And if you cannot perform a factory reset, you may have to wait until the Nest Aware subscription on the old camera expires:

It's second generation, and I found some other threads that revealed the presence of a reset button on the back (outdoor) and bottom (indoor) models, that just needs to be depressed for about 10 seconds while the power is on. Problem solved.
