Difficulty getting new nest camera to connect

I’m Having the same problem as several others are, but haven’t figured out how to respond to their messages. We just set up our nest camera. We got everything apparently working correctly but when it tries to connect to tells me something went wrong. Not sure where to go next- any tips would be Gratefully appreciated

Have you tried placing your camera close to your Wi-Fi router or Wi-Fi access point during the install, in case it's a Wi-Fi signal strength issue?

Thanks for reaching out- I actually ended up returning it  after phone calls to Google and Nest, as well as tech help from my son who works for google, and trying 18 times to connect it to my wifi were unsuccessful, I gave up !
