Discontinue HUB QR code from camera and use NEST QR

We bought a NEST Outdoor Camera and accidentally used the HUB QR code, but we do not want HUB. How can we uninstall HUB and use the NEST QR code on the camera?

In the setting in the app you should be able to "remove" the device and then re-add it correctly

Thanks for reaching out. I understand you need to set up your Nest camera with a QR code. I'm happy to help!

If you can see your camera set up in the app, first remove it and follow these steps:

If using the Nest app:

1. Open the Nest app.
2. Tap Menu in the top left corner.
3. Select the home you want to remove.
4. Tap Settings > Home info > Leave home > Leave.

If using the Google Home app:

1. Open the Google Home app.
2. Tap Favorites or Devices.
3. Tap Settings > Remove device > Remove.

After removing it, try re-adding your camera and you will see the QR code option again.
