Does nest doorbell or camera require any subscription?

My friends own devices from other brands that needs monthly payment to get extra features. Is nest the same? What's the price and provided services?

Hi @WesleyK 

The Nest Aware subscription isn't required to make the doorbell work. That being said, the features are very limited without a subscription.
