My doorbell camera (battery) is also wired in to a doorbell power supply. I wear hearing aids connected to the phone with Bluetooth. When I receive a google home alert it wipes out my hearing aids for several seconds, 5 seconds or more, from all other sounds in my listening environment no matter who I'm talking to, and I need a few more seconds for listening recovery. I cannot bypass it except to completely turn off the alerts. What I need is a brief alert lasting about half a second. But it's impossible to change the sounds in the app. I've tried everything and I've read many reports in here of people being told it's not possible. Please fix this. It's a hearing accessibility issue for me.
Thanks for listening. It's something my ears are not very good at doing.

Hi Ogreseen,
Thank you for posting in the community. I understand that when you get a Nest alert, it wipes out your hearing aids for a few seconds and this takes a few more seconds for listening recovery. I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
The best advice that I suggest to you is that you can contact the manufacturer of hearing aids, and they can give you the proper troubleshooting regarding this inconvenience.
If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reply to this post. I'll be happy to assist you further!
Best regards,
Rusell.
