Doorbell chime doesn't work

It's set up and ready to go, but when the button is clicked, the sound does not come from the Nest Mini

Are your Nest Mini and battery doorbell in the same Google Nest "home/structure", is "Do not disturb" turned off on your Nest Mini, and do you have "Visitor announcements" turned on under Settings in the Google Home app for your doorbell?
