Hi,
Took my nest doorbell off to charge overnight and it won't remount this morning.
It will not Click in at the top and keeps popping out.
I have wiggled the dismount key into the socket at the top to no avail.
It's only 12 months old.
Any advice???
James

@JamesFair, thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To confirm, which Nest Doorbell do you have? In case you have the Nest Doorbell 1st gen, Hit this link to see how to attach it properly and skip it to 6:12 mins. Let us know your update here.
I appreciate the help, MplsCustomer.

I have the exact same problem! Sent an email to Google and...........no response!

I've had the same issue... TWICE!
The first time, I sent a video of the problem while chatting with support and they sent me a replacement device. Now the exact same thing has happened with my new device and I am now out of the warranty period, so I am s*** out of luck! Now what am I supposed to do? Buy a new doorbell just for all of this to happen again?!
Makes no sense to me that a manufacturer's defect should ever be 'out-of-warranty', since it is their fault! If you're not going to have a quality product, you could at least have a quality warranty program... I'm very upset with this!
