Doorbell not recognizing packages

We’ve noticed some issues with packages not being recognized and no notifications getting sent. We never receive notifications of a package when it’s clearly visible in the camera. What makes it more strange is that we DO get notifications of “package no longer seen” when we open our own front door and pick up the package. So clearly it recognizes something but never notifies us when a package arrives. This is one of the main reasons we purchased a camera doorbell so it’s frustrating when we never get notified of the most important things.
