Doorbell notification to google mini

I have two minis at home. When someone presses the bell, I sometimes get notification in only one of the two minis. Sometimes I get notification in both. It’s not consistent. Also one of the minis just rings the bell but doesn’t say ‘someone’s at the front door’. How do I solve these two issues.
