Hi,
I have a battery google doorbell and multiple other google home devices. When the doorbell is pressed , all the home devices behave appropriately with alerts popping up, devices ringing and options to speak to people at the door through the mic.
However, on my pixel 7 pro, when the doorbell is rung ,I get only a pop up push notification. Issues with this are the following:
1. Single chime like a text message and no ring option that I can find -therefore easy to miss
2. A push notification comes up on my phone but no option to interact with the doorbell from my phone. Nothing happens when I click on the push notification and there is no direct option to speak through the mic to someone through the notification . This means that once I receive a push notification on my phone, I then have to seperatly open up google home app, select the doorbell and then select the mic to respond to the caller. By the time I have done that the caller had inevitably left.
Is there not some way to 1. make the push notification a ring rather than single beep and 2. to interact with the doorbell directly through the push notification or at least have the push notification open up the doorbell when tapped on?
Many thanks
Sam

Hello Sam34,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, have you tried checking the Google Home app notification settings of your Pixel 7 Pro if there's an option to change it? Try reinstalling your Google Home app. Keeping apps updated on your devices gives you access to the latest features, while also improving app security and stability.

Emerson

Yes, I have tried all those things, checked settings on google home app on phone, checked notification settings and app/phone is up to date .
It works on my girlfriend's pixel 6 (she gets push notification then clicks on it and it gives options/opens up doorbell) so it is probably a setting or issue on my pixel 7? Please help
