Anyone else still experiencing significant delays with notifications on their phones from Nest Doorbells!? I was reading up on it and previously Google was looking into the issue (back in 2021) and in June 2023 I see that users are still having issues. My notifications are delayed 15-24 minutes each time. Is this being fixed or are there any updates?
This isn't a periodic issue either - it's every single notification. The history records all events just fine. I find I need to randomly open the Google Home App to check and see the history, and only then do the notifications start coming through on my phone. What's the deal Google!??? This needs to be fixed.

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. To know more about this issue, I’d like to confirm, how far is your Nest Doorbell from your Wi-Fi router? Are there any appliances in between your Nest Doorbell and router that can interfere with the wireless signal? For troubleshooting, you may try restarting your Nest Doorbell and Wi-Fi router and monitor its behaviour.

The doorbell is 15 feet from our router, and there are no appliances in between. I have attempted troubleshooting by restarting the doorbell and router but the same issue is persisting. All notifications are delayed, by anywhere between 3 minutes and 20 minutes, and sometimes not at all. All history saves all the time, however.

Thanks for getting back to us. You may try resetting it to the factory default. Just a reminder, after the reset all of your event history will be deleted.
