Doorbell wired 2nd gen inferior to 1st generation

1rst generation rang on my iPhone when someone rang my doorbell. 2nd generation on Google Home only sends an easy to miss banner and no audible sound.
This feature is vital to me, this is a huge disappointment and inconvenience
