Last night we had some unwanted guests who tried to break-in.
These guests can be seen on an "older" Nest Cam which allows easily to download a clip (in Home Nest) to send it to the police.
However, my "new" Nest camera, which can only be managed via "Google Home", also saw these visitors but did not detect it as an event. I understand from Google that you can only download a clip from the camera's history from a "detected event" (https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9207572?hl=en&authuser=1#zippy=%2Cdownload-a-video-clip).
Is there any way that I can download a clip from a newer Nest Cam from an "unregistered event"?

Sorry to hear about your break in. For that camera model. you can only download video clips from detected events in the video history and there's no way around that unfortunately.
Hope they catch the offenders. All the best!

Hi everyone,
@Db0205, I'm dropping by to ensure that everything is covered here. How's it going with your Nest Camera? Were you able to download the video clips recorded? In case you have an update, you know where to find us.
I appreciate the help, Brad and davidking.
Regards,
Emerson
