Download history events

Without a subscription, how does one download and save recorded events before they are deleted?

Since Google Nest only gives you access to event video history for events that occurred in the most recent 3 hours, you have to download the clip within 3 hours.

In the iOS version of the Google Home app, you can also go to an event (one in the most recent 3 hours), and when the event is displayed, click on the "More" icon (the 3 dots in the upper right corner) and then select "Save clip to device".

Both work for us with a Nest Aware Plus subscription; hopefully they work for you as well.
