Faces NOT showing in face library even when it says the face has already been added

So when I get unfamiliar faces I tap to add them and it says the face is already in the library.  However it only shows me two faces in library ie myself and wife.  Tried this on a dozen plus people that have been shown as unfamiliar and when I tap to recognize them it completes but I never get the option to name the face.  If red the action it says the face is already in the library but it's not in the library

I considered that maybe it was adding the images to the existing known faces but nope 😞

Thought maybe I pressed wrong button and they got added as unfamiliar list but I don't see a place to review the images.  

No idea why this is happening but fingers crossed someone here can help

Hello Trune,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community. When you add or change a name of a person in the familiar face library in the Home app or Nest app, the change is also reflected in the other app. You may try reinstalling your Google Home app or Nest app.

Give these steps a try: 

1. Open the Google Home app .
2. Tap Settings Nest Aware Familiar face detection
3. To add or change the name, tap a face and enter a new name.
